Thanksgiving is knocking at the door and we must be prepared for this special holiday. If you want to impress your guests, you should make some DIY decorations, it’s easy and cheap. Being the host for this holiday isn’t easy, because you want everything to be perfect. This Thanksgiving decor for dinner it’s great and the best part it’s that you will not spend so much money on it. So, what are you waiting for? Here are some easy DIY hacks for Thanksgiving.

“Thank you” jar

Put a marker and some popsicle sticks for each of your guests, so they can write on the sticks what they are thankful for. Probably, some of them will be more grateful, so you should also put some pieces of paper.

Pumpkins as centerpieces

You can use any kind of pumpkin, either white, green, orange, real or fake pumpkins, doesn’t matter, because they will look perfectly as a centerpiece. If you already have mini pumpkins at home, but you don’t like that they are orange, paint them as you wish!

Tableware

For improving your table’s appearance wrap your dining utensils in burlap or jute. Also, for an extra decor, add some fall leaves with different shapes and colors, this will be the perfect touch for your tableware.

Floating apple candles

Make a hole into the tops of some apples with a knife, large enough to put a candle inside the hole. Once you are done, put them in a vase with water, it will be the perfect front door decoration.

Door wreath

You can create a chalkboard or use a real one. If you don’t have a chalkboard, use an old tray and paint the inside with chalkboard paint. Also, you can add some autumn leaves and bittersweet berries to complete the festive chalkboard.
